The bakery that bakes for us is based in Antwerp, FASFC-registered and allergen-trained. ColdCake doesn't bake in-house. We leave that to people who do it every day.
ColdCake started because cold email stopped working. The cake didn't. People remember a cake, even when they ignore your inbox.
ColdCake is asset-light. We design the experience — the cake, the message in edible ink, the QR landing page and the delivery confirmation — and work with an Antwerp bakery that builds to spec. We deliver in person across Flanders and Brussels.

Edible-print message on top. Brand-neutral by default. Custom branding from Tier 03. Nothing comes out of the oven that wouldn't fit through a reception door.
A real person, across Flanders and Brussels. We photograph the handover, log the QR scan, and email it to you. No couriers, no plastic clamshells.
Picture a freelancer in Antwerp. Week after week he sends cold email nobody opens. Reply rates hover around 1.7% (Lavender, 2024). The unsubscribes pile up. He stops.
He has a cake baked at his partner bakery, prints his prospect's logo onto it in icing, delivers it to the office. Now he's not in their inbox, he's on their desk.
That's the whole pitch. The cake is the result. Cold email is the control group.

Our entire pitch is that cake replaces cold outreach. Selling ColdCake via cold outreach would break that promise. We grow through inbound, the cakes themselves, and referrals.
Nothing sits in the freezer, nothing sits in stock. Our bakery only starts once your order comes in. That takes a few days, and those days are the point.
After a delivery, we don't send a string of reminders. No second and third attempt until something comes back. The prospect gets the cake, the message on it, and a way to reply — and decides for themselves what happens next.
Stop paying for it. Send a cake. Get a reply. Book the call.
